Quality audits also increase customer satisfaction. Audits ensure that the implemented items have been implemented and then look for other changes which would improve the project.

Although quality audits often focus on problems, they can also find processes or procedures that are working well and implement them into other projects.

Quality audits are often done by the performing organization’s quality assurance department, but can also be conducted by an objective project manager or by an outside source.
